Tennessee Christian Academy has an impressive track record in Cleveland/Bradley County. Prior to 1997, the academy was a ministry of Family Worship Center and was known as Hosanna Christian Academy. In 1997, a group of interested parents purchased the Academy and changed the Name to Tennessee Christian Academy. An independent board of directors was selected and empowered to establish policies for the school.
Tennessee Christian Academy was incorporated in the State of Tennessee as a non-denominational, not for profit educational institution. With a new name, a new charter, and a new board of directors the Academy leases the former Tomlinson College Campus on North Lee Highway in Cleveland.
In a meeting of the board of directors, the decision was made to initiate steps toward finding a permanent home for the growing school. The growth of the school, the high level of interest in the area for such a school, and the strong commitment from parents and friends influenced this significant decision.
This decision to find a new home is a giant step of faith. All of us at TCA firmly believe this is effort has blessing of God upon it. Numerous affirmations of this have been manifested.
