Dear Parents,
It is hard to believe that we are already into the third 9 weeks of school. Computer classes are going very well. I hope the students have had a positive experience thus far. From now until school is out, we will continue to work on keyboarding skills in every class. I have introduced a new method for learning letter location on the keyboard. It is called the Diana King Method. The kids seem to be responding well and I hope it will push the older grades to type more proficiently. We will also be introducing Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint this semester and hopefully complete a project in each. Continue to encourage practice at home with keyboarding, especially using the Diana King Method. Thank you for your help and support this year!!
