Meet Becca Chin, one of the sweetest 12 year old girls in our 7th grade class. Becca was recently honored during a ceremony at Vanderbilt University for achieving a high ACT score in the Duke University Talent Identification Program. Becca scored in the top 30% of the elite group of 7th graders who tested, qualifying her for state recognition.

Becca loves school academically and socially. She states that she enjoys spending time with her friends at school. She does not have a favorite subject but she does enjoy learning in all of her classes. In her free time, Becca likes to play with her dog, Molly who has only three legs after being hit by a car. But Becca says that Molly's tail helps her keep her balance.

Becca says that she is the quiet one in her family as her big brother Aaron does all the talking. Several of Becca's friends at school have commented that they love Becca because she sits back and watches as life unfolds and then makes choices after careful consideration.

Becca attends church at Mountain Meadows. Her parents, Kevin and Debbie Chin are faithful school volunteers and trip chaperons. We are all very proud of Becca.
