Middle/High - Physical Education

 

  • Middle School Physical Education – This class stresses total body fitness by playing games and doing exercise. We play sports games like volleyball, basketball, softball, and more. We promote good attitudes and sportsmanship during our activities for 7 th and 8 th grades. Students have Physical Education three times a week.

 

  • High School – Physical Education - This required course emphasizes both physical and social skills; a proficiency in the skills of individual and team activities. This class stresses total body fitness. We promote good attitudes and sportsmanship during our activities.

 

  • Health/Wellness – This required course is designed to give students a better understanding of Health and Wellness. The word health can be defined as a state of complete physical, mental, spiritual and social not just the absence of disease. Areas of content include emotional wellness, nutrition, general safety, first aid, and disease control. More importantly. This course challenges students to take and apply their learned knowledge. Decision-making models are presented so each student has the opportunity to learn how to make good, thoughtful decisions.
